I'm Karin. Ceramicist, clay coach, and someone who has been through enough to know what actually matters.

I came to clay in 2016, first as a hobby - and then as something I couldn't live without.

What began as a creative practice deepened quickly, connecting to everything I already knew from years of yoga and meditation. I found that working with my hands was the one thing that brought me back to myself. Not therapy homework. Not another mindfulness course. Just clay, silence, and something in me finally exhaling.

I've spent years understanding what sits underneath that - the nervous system, the body, the way we hold things we can't say out loud. I bring to this work a background in yoga, meditation and mindfulness, decades of lived experience, and a deep understanding of what it feels like to be lost in your head and disconnected from who you are.

What I know is this: you already have what you need. Sometimes you just need the right conditions to find it. No plan, no goal, no homework. Just permission - to play, to make, to come back to yourself in the softness of clay.

That's what I offer. In one-to-one clay coaching sessions, in a small Clay Club, and in the workshops I hold in Haarlem.

If any of this speaks to you, come and find me. xKarin
